Mission Beach in Far North Queensland is set to hold one of the biggest events to come to the Cassowary Coast with the Red Bull Defiance Australia event on the 31st of August to the 1st of September 2019.
A $30,000AUD Cash Prize Pool and Trophies for category winners are up for grabs and is sure to get interest from around the world.
The event showcases some of the biggest adventure sports people in the world and they will cover 150 km’s over six challenging stages that include rafting, biking, running, kayaking and other mystery activities around the Cassowary Coast area.
Australia’s toughest two-day Adventure Race, ‘Red Bull Defiance’ will take you from the depths of Queensland’s rainforests back to its iconic reef. The course is raw, remote and rewarding, challenging both mentally and physically, requiring strong teamwork, communication and comradery to tackle. If you are in search of warm water, waterfalls, white sandy beaches, white water rapids and a classic Queensland Pub, Red Bull Defiance has it all. You better be up for a bloody tough Aussie adventure.

This event in Mission Beach will be the first time the Red Bull Defiance event has been held in Australia and there could not be a better place for a world class adventure race in this country than in the Cassowary Coast as the area is very well known as an adventure centre in Far North Queensland.
